John
Practice Administrator
John Rubino serves as Practice Administrator at Montclair Orthodontics, overseeing all non-clinical operations and ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for every patient and family.
Working closely with Dr. Rubino, he is responsible for the systems, communication, and service standards that support the practice’s commitment to exceptional orthodontic care. From the first phone call through the final retainer check, John focuses on making each step of the process clear, efficient, and patient-centered.
He works directly with patients and families to provide clear, upfront guidance on treatment fees and payment options—so they know exactly what to expect and can move forward with confidence.
John earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Cornell University, his Master of Health Administration (MHA) from Cornell University, and his Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) from Stevens Institute of Technology. Before joining the practice, he built a successful career as a data and technology executive, bringing a disciplined, systems-driven approach to operations and patient experience.
John and Dr. Rubino have called Montclair home since 2009, where they are raising their two sons. Outside the office, he enjoys coaching youth baseball, running, cooking, reading U.S. history, and spending time with his family.
John is committed to ensuring that every aspect of the patient experience reflects the same level of care, precision, and professionalism delivered in the clinic.
Vivi
Registered Dental Assistant, Team Lead
Vivi was born and raised in Brazil before moving to the United States to pursue her goal of learning English and embracing new opportunities and challenges. She earned her Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification in 2017 and joined the Montclair Orthodontics team in 2019, where she quickly discovered a passion for orthodontics and patient care.
As Team Lead, Vivi plays an important role in creating a positive, supportive experience for both patients and staff. She enjoys building relationships with patients and finds it especially rewarding to see how a confident, healthy smile can positively impact someone’s life.
Known for her calm, caring personality and attention to detail, Vivi helps patients feel comfortable throughout every stage of treatment.
Outside the office, she enjoys outdoor activities, yoga, meditation, and attending live concerts.
Crystala
Registered Dental Assistant
Crystala is an experienced dental assistant dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable, supported, and confident throughout every stage of their orthodontic treatment. She takes pride in creating a positive experience for patients while helping them achieve healthy, beautiful smiles they can feel proud of.
Known for her warm personality and caring approach, Crystala enjoys building relationships with patients and helping put them at ease during their visits.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with family, staying active, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. A devoted animal lover, she also enjoys a variety of personal interests that keep life fun, balanced, and energetic.
Ibett
Registered Dental Assistant
Ibett was born and raised in Ecuador, where she studied dentistry before moving to the United States to continue pursuing her passion for patient care and the dental field. Since relocating, she has continued building her career while bringing a thoughtful, compassionate approach to every patient interaction.
She enjoys being part of creating healthy, confident smiles and takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their orthodontic treatment.
Known for her warm personality and gentle demeanor, Ibett values the relationships she builds with patients and families each day.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Luna, and caring for animals.
Vanessa
Front Desk Associate
Vanessa brings more than 14 years of experience in the dental field and a genuine passion for patient care. She is dedicated to creating a positive, welcoming experience for every patient and family from the moment they walk through the door.
Known for her warm personality, caring nature, and upbeat energy, Vanessa helps patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visits. She takes pride in building strong relationships with patients and contributing to the friendly, supportive atmosphere at Montclair Orthodontics.
Outside the office, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her family—especially her three nieces—relaxing with Netflix, and listening to BTS.
Fun fact: She has traveled to South Korea three times to celebrate Halloween.
Myrna
Front Desk Associate
Originally from Texas, Myrna brings more than 10 years of experience in the orthodontic field and a genuine passion for helping others. She is dedicated to creating a welcoming, supportive experience for every patient and family who visits Montclair Orthodontics.
Myrna’s compassionate approach to patient care was further shaped through her volunteer work within a deaf community in the Dominican Republic, an experience that strengthened her commitment to communication, kindness, and service.
Known for her friendly personality and positive energy, Myrna enjoys building relationships with patients and helping make each visit a smooth and comfortable experience.
Outside the office, she enjoys baking—and her homemade chocoflan is always a fan favorite.
